Waltsoft Inc ("we", "our", "us") operates mobile applications and web services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use any of our applications or services.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Our applications may use third-party services that collect information. These include but are not limited to: Google Analytics, Firebase, Apple App Store analytics, and Google Play analytics. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
Our applications are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
The Mass Time application includes a Virtual Confession Guide feature that uses real-time voice interaction powered by artificial intelligence. This section describes how data is handled specifically for this feature.
When you use the Virtual Confession Guide, your voice audio is streamed in real-time to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for processing by Amazon Bedrock, a third-party cloud AI service operated by Amazon Web Services, Inc. Audio is processed in real-time to generate spoken responses and is not stored, recorded, or retained on our servers or by us in any form. We do not have access to the content of your conversations after the session ends.
For information on how AWS handles data processed through Amazon Bedrock, please refer to the AWS Service Terms and the Amazon Bedrock FAQ. AWS states that inputs and outputs processed through Amazon Bedrock are not used to train their models.
We collect limited session metadata for operational purposes, including: a randomly generated session identifier, a device identifier, session duration, language selected, and session type (free or paid). This metadata does not include any transcript, audio recording, or content of your conversation. Session metadata is retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.
The Virtual Confession Guide offers an optional "Save Recording" feature that saves AI-generated audio responses as a file stored locally on your device only. This file is never uploaded to our servers. You control whether to save, share, or delete this file. We have no access to it.
The Virtual Confession Guide does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information. Authentication is handled through anonymous credentials that cannot be linked to your identity.
The Virtual Confession Guide feature is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using this feature, you confirm that you are at least 17 years of age. Users under 17 should use this feature only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the Virtual Confession Guide.
The Virtual Confession Guide is not the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and does not carry the seal of confession or any privilege of confidentiality under canon law or civil law. Conversations with the AI are not protected by priest-penitent privilege. While we do not store or access the content of your conversations, we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality of data transmitted over the internet or processed by third-party cloud services. Do not share information through this feature that you would only share under the protection of the sacramental seal.
Audio data transmitted between your device and AWS servers is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security). However, as with any internet-based service, we cannot guarantee that transmissions will be completely secure against interception by third parties. You use this feature at your own risk.
We do not store conversation content and therefore have no conversation data to produce in response to legal requests, subpoenas, or court orders. Session metadata (section 8.2) may be disclosed if required by law. We will comply with valid legal processes to the extent applicable.
Your voice audio and conversations are not used to train, improve, or fine-tune any AI models โ neither by Waltsoft Inc. nor by our third-party cloud provider (AWS). Amazon Bedrock does not use customer inputs or outputs to train its models.
Audio data may be processed in AWS data centers located in the United States (us-east-1, us-west-2) or Japan (ap-northeast-1), regardless of your physical location. By using the Virtual Confession Guide, you consent to the transfer of your audio data to these regions for processing.
